Important Notes

  • All conference fees include the welcoming buffet dinner (19/09), coffee breaks, three lunches (20/09, 21/09, 22/09), and the social dinner (21/09).
  • The PhD school fee only includes the participation at the lectures (see the PhD school page), meals are not included.
  • We have a fixed number of rooms blocked for the conference until August 20th. We warmly recommend you to book your room at your earliest convenience, and to share the room if at all possible. To book your room, please follow the registration instructions below.
  • On the 23rd of September, in the afternoon, there will be a scientific workshop followed by an informal dinner to celebrate the 60th birthday of Beppe Liotta. All GD attendees are very welcome to join! The participation (including the dinner) is free, we kindly ask you to register for the event in the registration form.

Registration Instructions

  • In order to register to the conference and/or to the PhD school, we kindly ask you to download the registration form by clicking here, fill and sign the form, and send it back by email to eventi@saracenhotelpalermo.com.
  • If you share the room with some other person (who may or may not be another participant of the conference), only one form must be filled. Next, based on your needs, you can choose to make a single payment or two distinct payments. Please note that a registration is confirmed only after the payment has been received by the hotel.
  • A participation certificate will be issued before your arrival and you will find it in your registration bag.

Alternative Venues

If you don't want to stay at the conference hotel, or if you could not find a room, below you can find a list of alternative venues. Please keep in mind that, even if you don't stay at the conference hotel, you still have to send the registration form in order to pay your registration fee.
  • Hotel Sirenetta, few meters far from the conference venue. You can book it directly from here.
  • More hotels near to the conference venue can be found via Booking.com by looking for places in Isola delle Femmine, Sicilia, Italia.
  • Palermo is full of hotels and apartments, and it is connected to Isola delle Femmine with a train that runs every hour and takes about 40 minutes.
